My students are truly superheroes in my book. Many students have already lived the lives of ten men. I admire my students for coming to school each day, willing to listen to me rant about education and the importance of reading; when they have to take care of multiple siblings, may not have had a meal in days, or may not have a place to call home. I appreciate the efforts and progress students are willing to give each day. I have one student in particular who inspired this request. This student is a fourth grade boy, reading on a first grade level, but making amazing strides. He has the kindest disposition and most beautiful smile. Although, he is a special education student, he speaks of college and better days. He gets along with peers, is extremely respectful and follows direction well. He has what it takes to be a contributing citizen in society, as long as he learns to become a more fluent reader. He loves video games and dreams of making them as an adult. Osmo will motivate him
