I teach a diverse group of 1st graders in Silicon Valley. My students are excited about learning and come from a range of socioeconomic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds. My class loves to read and will often choose or request nonfiction books. However, I do not have enough books in my classroom for my struggling readers. I want to be able to offer books to my students in a range of reading levels and a variety of interests.
