My classroom is home to over 200 students per day; I have 9 classes of students in grades 1-6 each day. My students are eager to learn, and our school community is fortunate to have great parental support. Our school is in a suburban area of Phoenix, and was recently designated as an "A+ School of Excellence" by the Arizona Education Foundation. We are fortunate to have amazing parents and students, but we are lacking in technological resources to meet our students' expectations and our teachers' needs. We don't have any school-owned iPads, and our computer labs are usually scheduled full, so it is difficult to fully implement technology into my music lessons as I'd like to do.
