I am requesting a class subscription to print and digital versions of TIME For Kids and a class set of headphones. Once fully funded I will be able to provide my students with new articles and other nonfictional texts that are current and relevant. They will have the opportunity to learn so much about the world around them and practice and improve their reading as well. I would like to order headphones as well so that students are able to access the digital versions and not be ashamed if they are having the text read to them. We will study a new magazine each week. Students will also have the opportunity to explore topics on their own as I plan to create a listening and exploration centers.
