The students in my classroom are eager to learn despite all things life has thrown at them. They are from low socioeconomic status, a variety of ethnic backgrounds and 1/3 are English Language Learners. All of the students at the school I teach in receive free breakfast, lunch and a fresh fruit/vegetable snack.
