This project was written to enhance my students' interest and reading abilities. By having the leveled texts, I am able to have an efficient small group/guided reading lesson with my students within various levels. Furthermore, it also gives them the opportunity to have independent reading with quality books of interest. I have been fortunate to have students that love to read and listen to stories. Unfortunately, our current leveled texts are worn, limited and lack support for our reading goals. I believe the leveled texts will help build upon necessary literacy skills, foster a love for reading and promote growth throughout the year.

About my class
