I have the honor of teaching some of the greatest students in the world. This is my 19th year of teaching and each year I am grateful for the opportunity to help impact our future generations. It is my privilege to teach AP World History, AP U.S. Government and Education Professions. The majority of my students will be the first person in their family to attend college and I am honored that I am able to play a role in their journey. Each year my AP students continue to amaze me as they score forty percent above the national passing average on their AP exams. The Education Professions class helps prepare students for a future in teaching. Last year 17 aspiring teachers traveled to Washington D.C. to participate in teaching competitions. For the majority of my students, this was their first trip on a plane. We are proud to say that WHS is home to three national champions and three second place finishers.
