The students in our school are all low-income, minority students. All of them receive at least two meals a day from the school and over half of them receive dinner as well. Our students go to school for more hours/day than typical students in our area and engage in several after school activities in order to further their education. These students work really hard and are really awesome. They have a lot of potential and it is their determination that makes me want to go the extra mile and engage in this collaborative project.
