I need to update my computer hardware to meet the challenges of the upcoming school year which has switched to online learning. The students were given Chromebooks in March to help them stay connected during the pandemic. However, my equipment was not updated, and it is a challenge to get my equipment to connect to meetings and websites where I would connect with my students. Now, as my district is continuing with online learning I am worried that my current equipment will not be able to meet the challenges of online instruction. My students are hard workers and they met the challenge last year. I want to ensure that I am able to keep them engaged in their learning and be there when they need me, even if it is online. The MacBook Pro will also allow me to assign and grade work and ensure timely feedback for students. I just want to ensure that I am there for my students and help them when needed.
