I have been doing literature circles/book clubs for years in 3rd grade. I have moved up to 4th grade and many of the 6 packs of books available to us at school are falling apart, missing a book or at a low level. My students would benefit greatly, for years to come, by having quality reading material that they can read simultaneously with their peers. The conversations and love for reading that is sparked by sharing thoughts, feelings and emotions brought on by a book is priceless. Students always end up recommending their favorite books from book clubs to their friends and continue to spread the love of reading.

About my class
