My students come from a diverse background, but are 90% free and reduced lunch. Our School is an amazing A school, but we need more assistance in building up our technological supports that will help drive student achievement. At my school, students are eager to learn new information and put that information into writing. The school has developed a culture of promoting and rewarding hard work and academic achievement. Students have learned over the years that it is important to be successful in school. Good education is an opportunity to create their own future. We teach our kids that they can dream great things and be instruments of positive change in the world. This is the kind of school that I work for. I believe in the great things my students are capable of doing each day inside and outside the expressive colorful walls of my classroom.
