Many of my special education and general education, in the sixth and seventh grade, are between two and five grade levels behind. These students struggle with their basic numerical facts (adding, subtracting, multiplication and division). By providing my students with a simple 10 minute daily warm up by using the Hand2mind: Daily Fact Fluency Kit, my students will be able to focus on activities that have been designed to enhance the math curriculum while also allowing the students to have access to the sixth grade curriculum. By improving my students fact fluency my students will be able to generalize these mathematical skills into their every day life.

About my class
