This project will allow my students to have access to multi sensory learning opportunities in the areas of Art and Science. The materials in this project will allow our class to make and use many multi sensory projects. Students will follow directions to complete science and art projects that allow for sensory exploration. The corn starch, jello, balloons, foil, baggies, rice, laundry soap, fold coloring, jello, koolaide, baby oil, vegetable oil, and I’ve cube trays will be utilized in of science curriculum. Where as the scented and raised stickers will allows students with visual impairment access the curriculum by using other senses. Example projects include: slim, snow, chemical reactions, color theory. The students in my class benefit from multi sensory instruction and repetition. The materials in this project will also further students social development when interacting with peers in their class and general education. These fun interactive art, science and sensory projects will help a variety of learners learn new skills.
