The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to purchase unique and creative materials to enhance the literacy programs I teach daily. So many students are struggling readers because of remote learning and the pandemic. These gift cards will allow me to provide them with supplemental materials that they can use at home or in school to support their individual needs. For example, there are activities like puzzles, word sorts, word scrambles, and other games that would engage the students to promote knowledge of CVC words, long and short vowels, blends, and digraphs. All of these skills are essential to becoming a lifelong reader!
