My students come to school not just to learn but to escape their every day life problems at home. We are a Title I school in priority status located in one of the highest poverty areas in the city. 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. For some, these are the only meals they will have for the day. We are working so hard to help relieve the burden from our parents and students by supplying basic needs. My students have the ability to succeed in life but are lacking the materials to do so.
