In my classroom, the focus is on social/emotional learning. My students need assistance to learn how to regulate their emotions, which can lead to an outburst in their behavior. To help to de-escalate we need to provide calm lighting and comfortable seating. My kiddos are really amazing little people! They just need a little extra love and attention to be successful at school. They need to know they are safe. The items in this project will allow me to create calming areas throughout our classroom and allow us to provide services to more students.

About my class
