My students and I will use this easel together in our classroom daily. My group of students haven't had the opportunity to work in a real classroom before, so I want to give them as many chances to practice reading and writing as I can. The easel is such an important piece of our carpet time routine. It can be used for writing by both students and teachers, used to hold anchor charts we make together as a class, or as a game board for any magnetic game pieces we have. We spend a lot of time together on the carpet throughout the day, and the easel is almost always used during this time. We use the easel for our morning message, reading, math, science and more!
