OMS is in the process of creating an outdoor learning space for students to get hands-on experiences with science in their community. The students are excited about creating this space and have received help from local environmentalists as well as the maintenance department. Students will learn about invasive species and how different animals and insects interact in our ecosystem. They will have to think through the logistics of placement and long-term care of the bat houses. Thank you for your support and generosity, this will give hundreds of students a real opportunity to observe and learn about nature in an authentic setting.

About my class
