The basic items will allow my students to be able to do more project based learning activities that will help them be better engaged and stay actively involved in their own learning. Since almost 50% of our population is considered economically disadvantaged, it will allow all students to be on an even playing field when asked to create or produce items within my content. The flexible seating will allow students to choose the best seating option for them so that they will not distract other students while still allowing them the freedom to move about at their desk. The clipboards will allow my students the freedom to get up and move around the room when I do stations in my classroom. Stations are nothing more than the work you would ask from them on a worksheet but it allows students the freedom to move while chunking the material into smaller sections to help keep their attention.
