My school serves students k-2 and provides different programs and interventions to meet the needs of all students. My kindergarten class consists of 4, 5 and 6 year old students which is a BIG variety of ages. The majority of my kids are from Enfield but we also offer a choice program where we bus kids in from the city of Hartford. Therefore my classroom is a mix of mostly Enfield kids with some Hartford students mixed in too. With all of that being said the students come in with a multitude of different skills. Some of the student's skills are stronger than others, and some of the students are in need of some more guidance and support throughout the year. This is why I am here to be able to provide the best instruction possible to make my set of kindergarten students fully prepared to access the first grade curriculum.
