I am a Special Education teacher working with students who read anywhere from pre K to 12th grade. I love teaching history and government through art and debate. Even though I hope my students leave knowing the causes of World War I, and can recognize the themes of the past present in the world today, I am keenly aware that the most important part of my job is teaching students that they are special, that they are wanted, and that they are perfect, just the way they are.

About my class
