My students are located in an industrial business district in the Phoenix area with a high population living in trailer homes and low rent apartment complexes. 45% of our population participates in a free and reduced lunch program. Despite all the odds that are stacked up against these kids they have managed to maintain a top ten ranking in AIMS test scoring tens years running. They are part of an accelerated paced program that promotes grade level above math and pushing for rigorous work assignments in all of our core subjects. Our students strive for excellence in every class every day.
