My classroom is full of 32 energetic, eager, smiling 2nd graders! I teach at a Title 1 school in Phoenix, Arizona. We have received many awards on both a state and national level. My students come from many different backgrounds. Our classroom is a place where students can come and can forget about all of their differences and we become a family. Our classroom is a safe place where students are open to learning, trying new things, and working hard to achieve their goals. We do a lot of hands on, engaging, cooperative learning activities. Every day is a new adventure with Ms. McLendon's Monsters and I love watching them grow while we laugh, learn, and have fun together!
