The 90 students that cross through my door are a diverse group of enthusiastic learners. They come from a variety of background and academic levels. I have students with limited English proficiencies to above grade level thinkers that are ready to take on new challenges. As fifth graders, they question their place in the world and what they can do to make a difference. They have a keen understanding of technology and they are eager to experience new skills to research and present their learning. They are curious and especially love learning about new strategies to help them advance in math and science. It makes them feel connected to the world around them and encourages them to seek out new information and knowledge. Technology provides them with an opportunity to enhance their language skills, hone math concepts, and keep them up-to-date with what students are experiencing throughout the world.
