Our school community is a welcome, safe, and creativity rich environment. Our students are eager to learn and very self motivated. They come from various backgrounds, some have greater needs than others. Our school population is over 70% Title 1 with the entire student body receiving free breakfast and lunch. However, we all come together, students and staff, to make the most of our abilities. Our community is very helpful and excited to support the academics and extra curricular activities in our school. This community includes churches, parents, grandparents, and even retired teachers. Even though we have the backing of so many people, we are still in need of additional technology related teaching resources such as Chromebooks. Chromebooks would be a valuable asset to individualize instruction. Students will need a wide range of technology skills in their lifetime.
