My school's priority goals are: literacy using writer's and reader's workshop model, mathematics, science, and dual language. The school community must see it as their responsibility to move children to higher levels of performance and work together to see that no child is left behind. Our students are with us for such a short amount of time, every moment is important. Use time wisely. Keep to a rigorous schedule; students in your care will flourish. My students are from Kindergarten to fourth grade. Half of the class come from Spanish speaker household. Most of my students are struggle readers and writers. They are two and three years below grade level in the area of reading. Most of my students are visual learners but my job is to use a multi sensory approach. My students are delightful to participate in the program (Diverse learner program) that works with each individual student and help them to overcome challenges. My students are extremely smarts, rambunctious, and curious.
