My students are sixth through eighth graders. We have a student population of eight hundred and thirty. Of those, eighty-seven percent are minorities and more than half are socio-economically disadvantaged. We have a truly varied student body, with those who like to learn and those who don't. Ten percent of our student population are students with disabilities. We try to provide an environment that is inclusive for everyone. I'm hoping that those students who like to learn, as well as those who don't, will come to the library and make use of our Makerspace.
