Since last year was my first year teaching, I ran into some issues that I did not expect. Students are very visual today and need to see the problems being walked out on the front board. However, this doesn't allow the teacher to be able to move around freely during notes. I had a hard time ensuring that all students were taking proper notes and I would like to change that for the upcoming year! With this technology I can project anything on the iPad onto my white board. This will allow me to walk around the room and solve a problem on iPad and it will project onto the white board for all to see. In addition, the iPad can be used as a document camera. Therefore, when going over problems I can project student work over this system too.
