I currently need supplies and/or equipment geared towards sensory integration to help these children reach their educational goals at the same level as their peers. Children with sensory processing delays have a difficult time getting and staying organized which affect their ability to sit, attend and participate in their classroom setting. students have severe responses to tactile, auditory, and visual stimuli and constantly seek movement, touch and oral input. These difficulties can adversely affect their learning and the learning of their classmates. My students need tactile, auditory, and vestibular stimuli through the use of the MegaSpinner (vestibular), Earmuffs for kids/noise reduction ear phones (auditory), and the fidget bag/sensory toys, especially the chewys and fidgets (tactile), to help each child maximize their function within the classroom setting.
