Our students want to be successful in their education. Let's provide them with multiple opportunities to master the skills taught. We use sensory objects throughout our day to continue to reinforce, math and reading, skills taught, and to improve our focus skills. We also use the sensory objects and alternative seating during math instruction and independent reading instruction. The students enjoy their time with sensory objects immensely and enjoy engaging in educational games and activities. Over past several days, I have noticed an increase in focus and the application of academic skills when paired with reinforcements and sensory objects.
