Students at our school are disadvantaged being extremely remote from learning centers (like universities and libraries) and come from families with low incomes. The school has approximately 90% free and reduced lunch and struggles to overcome the many challenges to make learning fun and meaningful. Students are excited about hands-on learning activities but have few labs or resources at school to engage them in STEM activities.
