Children learn through play! In my classroom, I need play activities to help teach Reading skills to my students. These materials will include puzzles, matching games, sorting games, and interesting leveled readers. My students will enjoy having hands on learning activities to help them in the process of learning to read. Kindergarten students need to be taught in a variety of ways in order to master a skill. The supplies that I have chosen are hands on, and have a lot of visuals. My ELL population especially need the picture clues to help with building their Reading skills.
