Adding an iPad to our classroom gives students one more way to explore the world. With tight budgets, having an iPad would allow students to experience virtual field trips and labs they might now get to otherwise. Allowing my students to watch live web cams from different biomes and participate in virtual dissections are two things I look forward to doing. By including these activities, I feel I will find increased motivation and engagement by my students. I talked with a few last year, and they were really excited about trying some of these ideas out. One student said, “It would be so cool to have iPads in the classroom because we could 'transport' to any part of the world so easy!”

About my class
