My class is made up of three, four and five year old students with varying disabilities who benefit from being with non disabled peers. Prekindergarten children are active learners who discover their world by direct experiences; they are always eager to discover and explore new content. For this reason it is very important to maintain a safe and welcoming environment that is equipped to meet each child's individual needs. To help my students develop to their fullest potential I need to provide them with opportunities to manipulate materials, express themselves, and acquire skills with tools and equipment. With this in mind I am always looking for new and creative ways to engage my students.

About my class
