I plan to have the students use the notebooks for general thoughts, notes, creating and reviewing. Students will be learning about various health topics and when they have completed the Health class, they will have created their own health resource notebook to take with them. The laminating sheets will be used to protect my classroom copies of packets for students to use this year and, hopefully, the following years. I've added a few more things to make personal touches in the classroom where studies have shown improves student engagement. The clipboards are for activities and lessons when students need to get out of their desk to move around the room and write down content knowledge. All of these materials will be something small to show that these students matter to me and their learning is important.
