That is why I succeed." ~Michael Jordan The students at my school are in many ways, like all other students across the country. They like to play, laugh, and learn. Some are shy, some are extroverts, some are funny, & some are extremely intelligent. Some are hurting for so many reasons, while some have everything they need and want. Our school is an urban elementary school bordering downtown Ft. Worth, Texas. 87% of the students are on the state's free and reduced lunch program. As with all students, mine come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. However, in many situations, their formal educational experiences are limited to the classroom.
