The students in my classroom come from mostly low-income families and families of all different cultural backgrounds. Our school has over 600 students in grades K1 - 5 who inspire to learn and grow each day. Each year I aim for a loving classroom that fosters growth in identity and friendships, as well as learning. I always want my classroom to feel like home with a family of students coming together each and everyday to learn. However, supplies are limited even though all students deserve everything they need to help them learn comfortably.
