My class is a Dual Language Spanish/ English Kindergarten. Half of my 26 students are native Spanish speakers, and half are native English speakers experiencing their first complete Spanish immersion. Ours is a Title 1 school in a high poverty area of town. Every day is an adventure in building community, developing individual strength and skills, learning to be bridges between cultures, and becoming the leaders of our time who will shape a better world. I believe in each of my students 100%. If you could meet them, you would be as excited about our future and delighted in the present as I am. This job is a privilege every day.
