We are a Title 1 school with a diverse population, both socioeconomically and culturally. We serve a high population of homeless students. We are located in the center of our small city. We serve about 250 students, of which, close to 60% receive free/reduced lunch. Students speak Spanish, Farsi, Somali, and many other languages. Our small community struggles economically and many of our students have limited access to quality toys at home. Early childhood is a time of great learning. Children learn about the world through play. High quality play materials are essential for all of our youngest learners.
