Many of my students are newcomers to this country, with many having just tested out of English as a Second Language classes. They are motivated learners, and work hard everyday to master the ELA skills they will need to achieve. The school is a middle school located in Brooklyn, NY, and provides a warm, nurturing environment in which these students can grow to their full potential. However, we do not have advanced technology in all the rooms which hinders our ability to present material to the whole group.

About my class
