We are a Title I middle school. The students work hard to be successful, but many come to us lacking the reading skills, and hating reading. Isn't that a crime? Many leave my class in love with books. They read and reread the little books and excerpts I make for them, increasing their vocabulary and practicing. We read, and write, and talk books. They can and do read. And it is wonderful.

About my class
