Our district is using the hybrid model during the coronavirus outbreak to mitigate exposure while allowing students to come to school and engage in rigorous instruction. Students are in school 2 to 3 days a week and learning from home on the other days. Technology has become integral to keeping students engaged on days when they are home, and it will be even more crucial if we switch back to a full distance learning model. These Chromebooks will be used in class so that students can engage in small group and differentiated instruction while accessing our digital platforms. They will also be used to connect students who are home with students who are in school for partner or group activities. These Chromebooks would also provide opportunities for students to work independently on differentiated or independent tasks.
