My students are an interesting mix. Most of them are quiet, and will work quietly, but they love to play Kahoot. Every time we play everyone gets loud and everyone competes like their life is on the line. They get out of their seat and try their best to be at the top of the leader board at the end of the day. But my students have to work harder than other students, because they have learning disorders. All of them have two math classes, one that supports and builds their foundation knowledge of math. They love for me to email their parents about their good deeds, and a few of them work to keep everyone else in class quiet while I am teaching and on-task during classwork. I have implemented a new incentive system, and they are working hard to score a touchdown and earn a prize. They really are a great group of kids.
