My students are 7th and 8th graders who are committed to growing as leaders. My students are leaders for each other and they take their learned discipline into the classroom environment. Determined not only to better themselves, but their classmates, my students take opportunities to help others, so that they may maintain good grades and a reputation that exceeds excellence. My expectations are clear; "Be confident in your ability to succeed and be confident in your ability to help others succeed." My school is a Title I school, but I don't believe that defines my school. My students define my school and I have observed them fostering an environment that is conducive to excellence. My school does more with less and my students are a testimony to that.
