My school is a Title I school where a large majority of the students are economically disadvantaged or considered at-risk. Even though we have a percentage of the students who are considered Gifted and Talented, we also have a large number of students who are English Language Learners. Several of my students are considered ELL and English is not their native language. Most of these students tend to struggle because of the language barrier, but that doesn't stop their desire to learn. These students are very passionate about learning, and it shows everyday.
