The transition from virtual learning to in-person learning has caused an increased amount of stress and anxiety for children. Due to Covid-19 students had to be socially distant and they were not able to share common classroom supplies or incorporate flexible seating into daily activities. Flexible seating would allow the students and me to move freely around the room. I would use a portable stand to adjust where I’m teaching direct instruction. This will also allow me to support students who flourish when working close by me. The soundbox would benefit all students so they can hear my voice throughout the classroom. The doorbell would get the students' attention easily. To regulate students’ stress, fidget materials, and class incentives will help tremendously with positive support along with their physical, emotional, and academic needs.
