My students come from homes where help isn't always there or some come from homes where English is not spoken. When these kids are in the classroom, they are so engaging and their smiles light up my day. It kills me to see them struggle. They want to learn and will learn. Our school is a giant family. I enjoy every second there. Every teacher in our building gives everything they have to their classroom. My students do not have much and these computers would allow us to launch additional reading programs to help raise their levels and confidence. For some of these kids, books become their chance to travel the world and experience anything their imaginations can handle. Please help my kids see the world and show them they are as special as we tell them everyday.
