I presently teach in an area of a lower socioeconomic status, where I have the pleasure of serving a group of 22 first graders full of life and energy. Here at our school, students have the opportunity to grow and discover themselves. Learning is a priority for not only the educators but also our students. It is our mission, that each and everyday that we pass through the halls of Slater Elementary, we are striving for excellence and raising the bar.

About my class

I presently teach in an area of a lower socioeconomic status, where I have the pleasure of serving a group of 22 first graders full of life and energy. Here at our school, students have the opportunity to grow and discover themselves. Learning is a priority for not only the educators but also our students. It is our mission, that each and everyday that we pass through the halls of Slater Elementary, we are striving for excellence and raising the bar.
