We are one of five all-girl public schools in New York City, with students ranging from 6th to 12th grades. These girls come from low income areas where the high school graduation rates are on a decline. Our goal is to empower these young ladies by providing them with a strong education and to help them realize that college is more than just a dream, it is their future. My students are motivated and dedicated young women who have come to realize that women don't have to conform to what others believe they should be. Our young women have strong academic minds and huge life goals.

About my class
