I'm a Reading and MTSS Interventionist teacher in North Carolina and I love teaching elementary students! Many of the students in our school come from low income families with approximately 74% of the children receiving free and reduced lunch. After hurricane Florence a lot of students were displaced or left homeless. A lot of the schools were damaged and weeks of school was missed. After the hurricane our students returned to school ready to learn and with good spirits. With the help of donors like you, students every where will benefit because of your generousity. Our classroom is a fun, child-centered learning environment. Our classroom is a community and we work together in small groups and as individuals. We strive to respect one another and ourselves. Everyday something fun or funny happens. We laugh together and sometimes cry together, but mostly we care for one another! Thanks for your support!
